Ales Simunek became the 5th different winner in our inaugral season but it was Rik Walker who took the Championship title. Tony Rickard needed to beat Rik in the race by at least 2 places and with Rik crossing the line in 3rd his 2nd place wasn’t enough. Georg Naujoks took 3rd in the Championship, just pipping Alison Hine.
Petteri Kotovaara took a convincing victory at Brands Hatch ahead of Rob Swindells. Tony Rickard’s 3rd place finish meant he took over at the top of the championship table.
Tony Rickard earned his first win of the season to keep alive the title battle, just beating Rik Walker to the line and setting up a final round showdown between the pair. Alison Hine came 3rd to strengthen her claim on 3rd place in the championship although Georg Naujoks can still take it from her.
Rik Walker took full advantage of the absence of his Championship title competitors to gain maximum points and regain the title lead with a win at Charlotte. Georg Naujoks and Keith Lawrie joined him on the podium.
Michael Wollenschein win his 2nd race of the season, taking advantage of a slip by Tony Rickard in the very last corner.
