TWF1 Autumn 2009 – Round 8 – Adelaide

 

 TWF1 Rounds up the season with a visit down under to Adelaide, Australia. With the Division One Drivers Championship title all but solidified, final Championship positions and pride are still on the line. In Division Two, the Drivers Championship is still up for grabs and the battle should be intense. The TWF1 Team Championship has also yet to be decided so efforts from all are expected.

TWF1 Autumn 2009 – Round 7 – Donington Park

 

Donington Park, Englands’s oldest permanent road circuit, will host Round 7 of the TWF1 Autumn 2009 Championship this weekend. With less than 20 points seperating the top 3 drivers in Division 1, and 25 in Division 2, the Driver Championships are still up for grabs and with only 2 races left on the calendar.

Round 6 of the TWF1 Autumn Championship brings us to the Capital city of Madrid, Spain, and the twisting narrow circuit named Circuito Permanente del Jarama or the Permanent Circuit of Jarama. TWF1 Round 5 – Montreal Race Report

The North American swing of the Legends TWF1 Autumn 2009 season kicked off this past weekend with a trip to the famed Île Notre-Dame circuit in Montreal, Canada. The race also marked the midway point of the Autumn 2009 season, being Round 5 of the 8 race season. Lastly, the midway mark also meant handicap adjustments, and several drivers were sporting new chassis’s as they arrived at the difficult Montreal circuit. Let’s take a closer look at the action…

Well known as it’s signature welcome to the "Wall of Champions", the  Île Notre-Dame circuit  may be better known today as the Circuit Gille Villeneuve, the well known and well loved Canadian Canadian driver from Ferrari. Montreal welcomes the Legends Legaue TWF1 crew with open arms and quite a few changes as Legends reaches mid-season…

TWF1 Round 4 – Zandvoort Race Report

A cool, salty breeze welcomed the Legends TWF1 drivers to the seaside town of Zandvoort, Netherlands for Round 4 of the TWF1 Autumn 2009 Championship. South African driver Bret Metcalf stood atop the points Division One leaderboard entering the weekend, American Eric Fulghum atop the Division 2 leaderboard. 32 drivers attended the weekend, Division 2 driver and Legend League’s own roving reporter, Katier "Kat" Scott, gives us her view on the action of the day…

 

TWF1 Autumn 2009 – Round 4 – Zandvoort

The Legends League TWF1 circus returns from it’s trip to the orient to visit yet another John Hugenholtz associated track, Zandvoort. The Zandvoort circuit, originally designed and constructed from a series of interconnecting roads built by the German Army during World War II, was transformed into a true racing circuit in 1949 and managed by Mr. Hugenholtz for the next 40 years. Sadly, however, Zandvoort is perhaps most remembered for one of the most tragic yet courageous events to happen in Formula One’s long history…
