GP '79 Password Dilema - pls register intention to drive
Hi guys, I have been conflicted about what to do about the password on the server this week with the GP '79 fun race.
'Fun race' and GP '79 do not really go together, this is not Megane! Drop ins cannot just warmup for 20 mins and race, it does not work out that way unless they already know the mod.
But also, RF2 multiplayer is not exactly the most swinging party in town, attracting new drivers into Legends is not so easy!
With no password, in fact, if we pay very special attention to what is going on in practice session, which we do, we can actually filter out potential problem drivers probably to 90% of the standards we would have with a password, if we do it right. In this mod of course - especially so - we know that. Remember, between us, we already know the vast majority of drivers on RF2 already - there is not so many about as on iRacing So it can actually work out pretty good if we are careful. Absolutely anybody not running good for at least 30 mins in practice will be booted unless we know who they are, which normally we do.
But I still would like to put on password if at all possible. So, what I would like every body who intends to race n Sunday in the GP '79 to post in this thread to let is know you will be there - and if we get 10+ confirmations then I will put a password on the server. If not, we will run open server and proceed with extreme caution.
Thanks a lot guys

No we didn't Grunt. yesterday I came down with a bad cold which is now giving me a fever. pretty ok so far, spend quite a while on the server last night without probs but I just don't know how it's going to unfold. could get worse, or not.Grant Riddall wrote:Rouke wrote:if I feel better sunday I defo will join in
