rFactor2 Multi Car Special @ Sebring 12H
A bit of experimenting with a multi-car challenge this week. 4 different classes are available (all ISI defaults) all free to choose from. We will see how this pans out during club days and possibly tweak it some more just before the main event on Sunday.
And if you are fast enough, and up for a challenge, select the slightly slower cars and see what you can do!

If you got a setup, post it up, including times. that way peeps can settle in quickly.
2:07.215 Vadim already did a 2:05 in the Megane.

2:04.7 using the default Megane setup.
nb: I probably won't be there on Sunday as we have family over. If they leave in time I'll join.

Re: rFactor2 Multi Car Special @ Sebring 12H
lol, I did a few laps in the Vette and was 3 seconds slower.... Mind you that was the default setup too and I expect that car has a lot more scope for improvement. And I hate the car.
I did try the setup Rouke posted for the Megane but by the end of the 2nd sector I was 0.8 down and then crashed so went back to the default
Of the available cars, the Megane is the only one I have any interest in driving. The others just confirm my dislike of GT style cars.

And now a 2:02.7. Same setup, just moved the brake balance back to 58:42 and put the brake pressure to 95%.
Just a heads up, but if the races are going to be 15 laps then the Megane will probably require a pitstop. It might be possible to make the fuel last but it's going to require fuel saving for the whole race.

Thx Rik, had not checked fuel loads yet so might adjust lap-count accordingly.

2:02.5 -> Megane
2:03.6 -> Vette
Both default setups. The vette is specially hard around this track but so much fun.

Re: rFactor2 Multi Car Special @ Sebring 12H
Okay, as a resident Yank, I feel obligated to drive American Iron to honor my 'home' pride and joy of Sebring.
I offer up a humble [docile] setup for any takers. Still tweaking the gearing, it's a bit unconventional [basically turned a 6 speed into a 5 speed] but the radical change instantly gained me a full second off my PB. Now into the mid 2:06 range but there is certainly more speed to be found.
As for Sebring itself...
I know I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again - you absolutely MUST try this track at an hour other than 'high noon'.
Set up a praccy session but set the praccy start time to be 4pm or even 5pm. Personally I set mine at 4pm and set time acceleration to 3X. After a few laps and getting into the groove you'll find it reaching sunset, and this track takes on a whole new feel. It is, quite frankly, beautiful. Those of you able to run in HDR mode will truly appreciate it.
And in these cars it's often very appropriate. The 'stars' of the weekend, F1, Indy, etc, are usually getting the prime time track daylight hours, where the tintops and other support series cars race in the morning hours or later in the afternoon hours. rFactor does an amazing job of handling time/lighting transitions, I find it such a shame that we do not take advantage of this and end up running every race at '2pm'.

BTW - a big to Rik for posting a replay file of that fast lap.
Truly to me how you can brake so late! Not likely I'll ever be able to get to that level but it's always helpful to see how it's done and I pick up pointers every time I watch it.
