Legends League "Incident Tracker"
Further to the Canyelles stewards report, this season Legends is also using the server XML file to pick up ALL incidents during the race. As you may know the server records all reported contacts, and it also assigns a "severity" rating to each contact. We are picking those up, and listing according to the driver(s) responsible.
RFactor judges every contact on a scale of 0.00 (a miniscule brush was noted) up to 1.00 (you mullered him!). If we allow every driver cumulatively one bad error per season, everyone should keep their score below "1".
The column on the far right estimates that if that driver keeps that level of performance, what will be their severity at the end of the season....
At the moment <1 is okay, >1 is highlighted.
This is just a bit of fun so far - we can all see how we are doing - but gives some interesting info.
As ever, if anyone has any questions please shout out in the thread. This will be updated with Paul Ricard, Bathurst etc

Re: Legends League "Incident Tracker"
Thanks John.
The idea of this is that we are planning on implimenting this in some form for the Stewards Licencing and reports next season. For now it'll be used to judge the Clean Driver Awards, but next season we'll be most likely using the above system. The benefits for the stewards are that we can find incidents a lot quicker, as they are logged by the server, we can monitor the entire race, and we don't need to judge the effect of an incident, just who was at fault.

Re: Legends League "Incident Tracker"
Hi all,
The table above in Post 1 is updated for all server-recorded contacts up to the Interlagos TWF1 race. The format is revised so that drivers can see race-by-race how was the result, as well as the number of 100% "clean"(*) races, total of all contacts etc.
First all of all congratulationss and thanks to all, trying to keep the incident rate and "total severity" down. We all put a lot of work in, hoping to enjoy the racing at the weekend, and each of the incidents risks that someone's week may end very early.
Specially thanks to all those who are incident free - and a special congratulations to the family Riddall - we're not sure what's in the water around there, but in addition to their good results in our four races so far this season, both drivers have recorded four incident free events
TWFC Mount Panorama was a bit of a blip - our highest level of contact so far. That was primarily on lap 1, and was addressed in the stewards' report.
The far right column of the table predicts how many incidents we will see in each series, based upon what has happened so far. Current prediction is totally 45 "big hits" per series. That is quite a lot....basically three solid thumps per race, or rather, three people who could be knocked out of the event, damaged or the like. Typically we have seen incident levels reducing as a season progresses, and hoping this one will be the same.
To stress again, a higher number does not necessarily mean "bad". For example Rouke and Vadim are near the bottom of the table, primarily because they hit each other in a racing incident at Paul Ricard. If they are both okay with that....it's fine (for such racing incident we just assign half of the server "severity" to each driver).
Again thanks to all, and hope this is useful in understanding. If any questions just ask.
John (Statto...!)
(*) Clean doesn't necessarily mean "you were perfect and caused no problems". Not everything gets reported to the server, and we see some especially lag related issues where the server saw nothing, but clearly there was an impact.

Sorry folks, I had meant to update this race by race, but we had some large discussions about some incidents, I got sidetracked by other stuff....blah, blah, blah
Now updated through Jarama TWFC.....see how we're all doing

Re: Legends League "Incident Tracker"
Most recent update, covering through the halfway point of the seasons. As before you can see;
- The actual severity of incidents you contributed to
- Prediction of how many that will be over a full season
Interesting for me is that totally in TWF1 we have accumulated just under 7 in server-recorded severity, which would be just under 14 over the full season. In TWFC, despite slightly smaller grids, we have racked up just under EIGHTEEN, which estimates at 36 for a full season! So TWFC incidents running nearly three times as much as TWF1.
With Le Mans Bugatti coming up this weekend, worth bearing in mind.

Looking on the bright side, it's two spots above your team-mate....Rouke wrote:25th
I can post the detailed one again, but with eight races it's getting a bit busy. Grant's all came from one incident (Solitude) where he spun in front of a few other cars and collected them - pure mistake, and otherwise 7 clean races from 8. Yours I think was mostly you and Vadim collecting each other at Paul Ricard.
The ranking doesn't necessarily mean "bad driving", just that it's what we have racked up across our grids as a whole. Hopefully each driver can pick up what the causes are, and learn from those.
I'm intrigued by TWFC v's TWF1 - that's been the case in past seasons too. TWFC just seems to have bigger incidents.

Yeah, its 5 cleans races out of 8 and I know where they are coming from so its not too bad but still something to work on, that contact with Vadim, its multiple things really, both taking care but also wanting to race hard and then u get stuff like that.
For F167 even though we race with less damage then GP79 we still get hurt quicker, plus these cars don't like wheel to wheel paint-scratching, it usually ends in tears, a bit less with GP79 so that might be it.
And of course way more control in GP79, you can actually prevent incidents by slamming the brakes, janking the wheel or whatever using downforce and grip, in f167 you just lock up and start to slide or spin.

Thx John
Moved up 1 spot
Man, the hit in Race1 is really haunting us here Vadim, we can be pixel perfect for 7 races beyond but people will always look at us like raging maniacs and the only way to move up is if others start doing the same or worse

100% - just one part of it. It's why including also for example the number of clean races - both you guys are 7 out of 10 absolutely clean.
There's many ways to look even at only numbers. Maybe by seeing a summary of the season people can see something about their driving.

Updated now through TWF1 Brands Hatch. Totally 12 drivers 100% clean, and 5 who have six races or more (whole season so far). Well done guys!
