Hello Everybody:

My name is Robert Cartwright, aka "Roberto". I'm 43 yrs old and have been sim racing off and on since Winter, 1995. I'm currently a member of the SpeedRacin.con League and have been there since March of 2012. We race using rFactor2.

I've already raced with a few of your members in the past month so I know your league has good racers so hopefully we can come together and do some serious racing.

A big warm welcome to Legends Roberto. Look forward to meeting you on-track sometime in the future but basically I am now retired from serious sim racing due to old age related slowness on track

I am pretty sure you will really enjoy your time with Legends and sincerely hope you do.

Sorry, I didn't see your post until today. I currently live just North of St. Augustine right off I-95. I moved here 9 years ago from Memphis, Tennessee.

What part are you located at? Also, I was trying to figure out what track that is in your avatar photo. Looks like a racing school. I wish I had the extra money to go through one of those racing school programs. Oops, off topic. Better go

Nothing's off topic in this sub forum!!

I live further south, in Weston, FL, which is directly west of Fort Lauderdale and just at the edge of the Everglades. Been here in Weston for about 18 years and in South FL for the past 30+ years. The track in my avatar is Homestead Motor Speedway, where I was lucky enough to do a session at the Mario Andretti Racing Experience. Somewhere buried here in the forums is an article describing it, best time ever! You'd be surprised how inexpensive they can be, I'm sure they have one in Daytona which is close to you.
