Post by SteveC »

This time in our inter league format, we take the ISI 370Z again, this time to Jerez de la Frontera, should be an exciting ride at this interesting circuit well suited to the car. Hope to see you Sunday!

I got it down to 1:54.7 my PB should be that or something close. I am also using the Brno set. I have seen people get into 53's and expect the lead cars will be pumping in 54/55's race pace.

oooof
well that was just my opening lap of course... ;-)

I was looking for any Fun2Race 'live racers' stats earlier. Do they have anything setup in that department? It cannot not help.

Fun2Race live timing does not work!

Also on our own Hockenheim F1 '92 server, the server is a clean install and liveracers is not yet reinstalled, but it soon will be in the next few days.

Fun race yesterday :) This co-operation with other leagues works well. Not the best time for me (it was already 23:30 when the race ended) but I'll try to be around when I can.

Thanks to all participants yesterday, I fell asleep at the lights and went back 3 places to 8th sadly then had some fun battles with Matt Palla and Ray Riddall and caught Kelju but an overtake was too much to ask, come home in 5th. Grats to Ari as usual and also STATIC who was on fire too.

Not sure what car we will take in 2 weeks time, in all likelyhood it will be the Celica GTO which is a really awesome mod recently released, I recommend you check it out :)

A woefull race for me. Made a decent effort in Q but completely messed up the start; I simply did not see the lights change! No klaxon or anything. Everyone was well underway before I got going, plus I had an altercation with another car (my apologies, I havent dared check my replay of shame, it seemed like you tucked in front of me but I caught your back end)
I was almost last and my style was quickly eating front rubber. Made some errors too, lost plenty more time before pitting for fuel and front tyres. My determination to catch up in the second stint was misplaced, I had poor pace and finished a distant 11th a lap down. On the other hand I did have some great dicing with Mr DeadEyeski.
Looking forward to getting back to single seaters! :bat:

After limited practice (normally it takes me a good 100 or so laps in any mod to find a decent pace) however I found a decent safe set up and really enjoyed the race. First 30 minutes I was always dicing or within a few seconds of dicing someone before I had my pit stop. Early on had a great scrap with Ernie and someone else (cant remember nick names for some reason  ), very fair racing. Seems most peeps did not stop, so when i stopped the last half of the race was pretty lonely.

Regards,
Bret
