1:29.1 my best so far, but if I match best sector times It should be in the upper 28's.

Aliens should get into the 27's no doubt, perhaps even lower. 8) 8)

I'm probably in the same boat as Rik. I will try hard to make this one, but unfortunately I have some other commitments that I have to take care of. Apologies in advance if I'm not there.

I have yet to try build 342. What's the general feeling? Have things improved FPS wise?

BIG improvements

They re-coded graphics so the old 'low' is now the new 'medium'. the performance is much better as well so you can chose to lower settings and have the same results+better fps or beef things up and make it shine like never before.

It will require some testing again to find the sweetspots. Things look much more crisp and clear. some gfx have been moved around, smoke no longer is part of special effects, those things make a big difference.
I am now even able to run in HDR which would previously crash my pc (but I have yet to test it with full grids for more then 50 minutes in a row)

Funny thing is, rf2 'feels' better now. even though they did not change physics/tires/road, the increased performance and smoother framerates somehow makes people feel the physics much better (or feedback of them).at first I thought it was just me but others are reporting this as well.

Of course for some it was a step back, or the same but they made the wrong choices when changing settings, I dunno, can't be the same for everyone. but overall, good and major update.

Computer problem finally solved.
GTX 570 braking slowly but surely.

Warranty is still on. Refund hopefully on its ways :victorydance:
Old GTX 275 build in now. Not bothering with rf 2 till new computer end of 2014 most likely.

I can't join you guys today. Sorry.

I did try the combo this morning and it was great. I also managed to get down to the mid 1:26s, but it requires a lot of concentration and a smooth throttle application. Disappointed that I won't be there. Have a great race though.
