rF2-ISI Formula Renault 3.5-Nuerburg (Modern F1 Track)
Hi Everyone,
This Sunday the 9th March we will be racing the ISI Formula Renault 3.5’s at the Nuerburg (Modern F1 Track). The track does seem to suit these cars and although a fairly difficult track to overtake on there are opportunities providing you position the car just right in particular the section approaching the Michael Schumacher chicane.
There will be two races of 20 laps each.
Good luck

Yeah, I am too! I ran off line the other day with a bunch of ai and once the track rubbered in you could get really aggressive with the car. I've been trying different ideas for my setup and some help, some not so much lol.. But have to say, enjoying the car even more then I thought I would.

Re: rF2-ISI Formula Renault 3.5-Nuerburg (Modern F1 Track)
tricky buggers! I keep losing the rear everywhere. cannot push. cannot smooth. cannot.
This makes me angry which usually means pole and victory on the sunday so yeah, kat is in the bag, its done and dusted, you all lose.

When selecting a chassis to run, if you look under options there are a TON of setup/config options. Most of them are very cryptic [to me]. Anyone understand what the settings mean or how to decipher them?

Wow Bret, 1:46.100? Impressive! You have been busy!!!
Must say, these cars feel much more docile than I remember them when they first came out. Perhaps it was our stint in the other F2's.
Still lots to learn about these but I'm liking them so far. That said, I'm still WAY off your pace!!! [1:50.3 PB so far]

I cant join the server. I am missing an 'FR3.5 talent' file, so I click to get missing components and then an error message and back to square one. Can anybody help please?

Ralph,
I grabbed the Formula Renault talent file from my install, try this and see if it helps, you may need to hit the install button once you have the file in.
Dale
EDIT: This goes into the Installed folder then into the Talent folder: rFactor2/Installed/Talent

Re: rF2-ISI Formula Renault 3.5-Nuerburg (Modern F1 Track)
now i cant rejoin the server In the race list legends-league has yellow text and when i click 'join' I get 'server connection failed' message
so I am back searching the forums again, cant seem to find any reference to this yellow text. the Legends server is listed in yellow and the race details panel on the left also is in yellow, whilst all other servers are normal. head scratching and a bit of pounding fists on table.
and yes, already pushing on with yet another in a series of fresh installations.....

Damn Ralph
I can only repeat myself, restart rf2, uninstall vmod, etc. all prolly done by you multiple times.
we could restart the server just before quali, that seems to help some peeps and leagues.
