I was born in 1968, a turbulent year that had apparently also some good consequences :-)
Since the early school days, I've been a computer freak.
My first steps were in 1983 with the Sinclair ZX Spectrum
With that companion I immediately discovered the "sim racing" games (remember Nigel Mansell's GP??) and the art of "modding" the pc. In fact, to upgrade it to 48KB of RAM I spent the monstruous (for my pockets) amount of 90000 Lire (45€... imagine it 25 years ago).
I went on with PC's although they were not yet called that way, until the first IBM Personal Computer appeared and became a standard, along with Microsoft's operating systems.
I eventually got a grade at the University in Computer Sicence and Artifical Intelligence wich brought me to... working in the Tyre business :-))
From there I moved to Motorcycles (with MV Agusta and later with Husqvarna / BMW) but somehow I've always been in the automotive business.
I never forgot Sim racing, but until year 2000 (when I got my first private internet connection) I never knew that you can actually race online!
I found it out thanks to Need for Speed 5 (Porsche Unleashed) and thanks to a great group of online racers, the
Demolition Crew.
Along with them I got "serious" with online racing and joined their
Saturday Night Racing League, where I could race my favorite cars... Ferrari!
I had many years of GREAT fun with SNR, met a lot of people from all over the world, with whom I built a great friendship.
I also flew from Italy to Canada in 2007 for a "SNR Tour" where I met a few of my racing buddies and spent some vaulable time together in summer.
I finally joined the Legend's League in autumn 2008, since it's a place that shares the same attitude and commitment of SNR, and it offers some incredible good racing and sportmanship.
