We will be continuing to run a TWFC Team Championship as it provides you all with another goal to aim for aside from your position drivers champion table, this gives you the opportunity to work together and encourage each other gather as many points as possible in the hunt for the Team Championship title. To start a team, one driver has to register as team manager, you are allowed a maximum of 2 permanent drivers who have to be announced at registration.

There is no restrictions on the cars used within the team.You therefore are allowed to drive different car makes. We hope that as many of you as possible take the opportunity to form or join a team and we would like to encourage the teams to provide custom skins which will distinguish the different teams in the same cars.

We still use the concept of a "points multiplier". This means that every driver who joins a team will be assigned a multiplier based on finishing results in prior seasons. All points scored in the drivers' championship will be adjusted by the points multiplier when being counted for the teams title.

The multiplier is calculated based upon a drivers' average finishing position, excluding DNFs. The multiplier is then set so that if every driver finished the race, and in their typical position, everyone would end up with the same number of points. Based upon that every driver/team should have a chance of taking the teams championship. Across the entire season the title should be won by the two drivers who consistently stay out of trouble, and finish/score at their normal level.

Example driver A wins a sprint race, which would mean 40 points, "if" said driver has a multiplier of 0.8 this means a total of 32 points would go towards the team points. Likewise if another driver who's multiplier is 1.50 finished 9th (22 points), then 33 points would be scored for the team championship (22pts x 1.5), and so on.
