The final round of the Trans-World Radical Racing 2010 Spring series took place at Homestead Miami Speedway Road Course B.  The championship would not be decided until this race.  Read on to find out what happened.

[Track map]Qualifying commenced at 18:30 GMT.  Bogdan Cosofret and Rik Walker were dukin' it out for pole position.  Bogdan posted the fastest time with 1:12.181, three tenths of a second faster than Rik.  Patrick Bolster also managed a sub 13 qualifying 3rd with Dave Kadlcak alongside in row 2.  Leo Landman and Baz West occupied row 3 of a field 5 rows deep.

Pole sitter Bogdan got a better start than outside frontman Rik and easily took the lead. Both Rik and Patrick did not get the most ideal of the starts, and gave 4th place qualifier Dave the opportunity to slip into 2nd behind Bogdan.  Lap 1 was good and clean.

The next few laps were a little rough.  Bogdan slips up in turn 8 on lap 2, and gives up the lead to Dave.  Further down we have the battle in the midfield.  After a bad start Leo is behind Baz.  On lap 3 he tries to go inside of Baz into turn 4 which results in some prolonged fender and wheel banging.  Eventually Leo muscles his way past Baz exiting turn 5.  Kat takes sees the opportunity and has a better run down to turn 6 than Leo.  Not aware of Kat, Leo slams the door and both suffer damage.

Few laps later Patrick and Baz start to develop a little battle for 4th place.  He gets by Baz but gives it up again a few laps later on lap 8.  Leo is unable to drive the damaged car, and unable to fix the damage for some reason so he decides to park it for good on lap 12.  Bogdan takes over the lead on lap 13 when Dave screwed the exit out of 4.  Rik gets by Dave in turn 9 and both have a little battle for 2nd place on the next lap.  Eventually they settle in the qualifying order except that Baz is in 4th and Patrick in 5th.  The field spreads out.  Patrick is able to dial in on Baz and they fight for P4 for the final 15 laps or so.  Patrick is finally able to get by Baz on lap 29 as they drag race from turn 6 through turn 7 all the way to turn 8.  On the next lap, Patrick throws away all this effort and loops it in the 2nd half of the oval.

Rik wasn't making it that easy for Bogdan and stayed in his shadow until the end.  Bogdan won his 2nd race of the season by less then 2 seconds ahead of Rik.  Third place was awarded to early leader Dave Kadlcak, over 22 seconds behind the leader.  Congratulations Bogdan on your win!  Also many congratulations to Rik Walker on his 2nd championship of the Legends League iRacing series.  Very well done mate!

Driver of the day award:  Kat Scott

Again this time I had a few drivers to pick from.  For one all those guys keeping it clean of contact and those that struggled but stayed with it.  Kat kept it clean but was victimized by a brute door slammer, yet she kept at it and didn't give up.  Running a damaged car is usually frustrating.
