Heading into Round 7 of the TWF1 Autumn 2010 season, the Driver's Championship race was very tight. A mere 20 points seperated the top 5 drivers. German track Hochenheim, with it's long forest lined sections of track would favor the "slipperier" cars in the field, or so it would seem on paper. Let's take a look to see how it all came to pass...

Pole sitter Timo Peltola in a surprise move decides to sweep the track clean of marker cones on the warm up lap.

The massive stadium section crowd awaits the green flag along with pole sitter Timo Peltola and surprise 2nd place starter David Pym.

Heading into the first set of chicanes, Rouke vd Hoek wrestles away 2nd place from Solent Racing Team's David Pym.

Scuderia Giallo driver Kat Scott's ill advised attempt to leapfrog past [literally] Heavy Metal Racing's Eric Fulghum left racing parts strewn across the field and several drivers with bent machines and irritated tempers.

An example of some of the tight and clean racing on the narrow, high speed Hochenheim track. Drivers left to right: Ralph Maiph, Grant Riddall, Rick Stratton.

Ritsa Racing's Timo Peltola would hold off the late charge of Team Romas Rouke vd Hoek to take the victory, his first of the season after missing several early races.
