Race : Sunday 5th April
Practise / 40 minutes / 18:00GMT
Qualifying / 20 minutes / 18:40GMT
Warm up / 10 minutes / 19:00GMT
Race / 60 minutes / 19:10GMT

Formation lap: on the formation lap please keep a reasonable 1 second gap between you and the car ahead. Let the leader determine the pace of the formation lap. Also, once lining up please do not stop completely to do a burnout to warm the rear tyres.

Will the server be upgraded or not?

One of the fixes is following:
"Disabled an unnecessary message pump in the simulation thread. The latter appears to fix the CPU spikes that some were experiencing."

We should definitely update the server, if that makes stuttering go away.

Danger to update will be to get some other issues that nobody can know atm.

But i'll follow the group.

On the other hand, if it can fix ths spiking problem that keep some driver away i say, go for it!

Yes it may Steeve but it is difficult to believe it can be any worse than the previous build and not just from a CPU stand point The server is already updated - if in the unusual event it is worse than 930 I will reinstall it promptly.

Yes that's right, the build appears to be good CPU spiking sorted, warping from server appears to be sorted

I did change the time of practice race from 1500GMT to 1400GMT but the clocks do not actually change until midnight tonight I have changed it back to 1500GMT just now which may cause some confusion... Race time is correct though- 1800GMT.

The saturday afternoon practice races are a pretty desolate affair - I am thinking to change to Sat evening, about 8pm, 40/45 min practice race or something. Does that interest anybody?

Today i can be on at usual time for practice race. I would not be able to join at 8 gmt.

I thought 1 Ferrari was in the vmod, it isn't. I will make a new vmod tonight with a Ferrari. I am pretty sure that Ferrari was included the first time, maybe I made mistake. I will do it again.

Ferraris are in, new vmod created - the vmod has a new name and therefore should download no problem today.

There at least 1 car from every team, I have to omit some for technical reasons. Please post your preferred car # in this thread viewtopic.php?f=33&t=9782 and I will ensure that car is not missing in future.

Also, in this build there is a server bug, the thing that has happened in the past where server goes into loop saying 'playerx has entered/left the race' and the server act crazy - normally people try and leave the server at this point.

There is no need to exit the server, just stay there and let the server ride it out, it takes about 60-90 seconds. This is a relatively inrequent problem, which only happens when somebody enters the server, so risk in race of this is virtually 0
