Brands Hatch times

Post by Dave Kadlčák »

Started with Rik's high DF setup from Silverstone, dropped the top gears a couple clicks to get the best top speed.

1:05.1 is my PB so far, with a 1:04.6 Optimal, on qual trim.

Probably be doing 1:07s, 1:06s in race.

Dave.

1:05.3 best lap, 1:05.0 optimal. That's with 40 kg of fuel, using Rik's high DF Silverstone setup. With small tweaks though, Rik sets his throttle shape at 4 but 1 seems to better suit my controls / style of driving. Etc. So much to discover and adapt in these cars...

1.02.4xx with low fuel.
Rik will probably be 0.4 to 0.7 sec quicker.

Could you post a replay, Ben? I'm quite sure I can't match your laptime but 3 secs is a big gap and I'd like to know where exactly I'm losing it.

It will be too big for the forum anyway. You should be able to upload it to the main website though, http://www.legends-league.com/twfr/inde ... elect&id=4

I see that some people are getting into the 1:01s and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the uber-aliens are pushing the 1 minute barrier. I'm just about to start practising.

leo at legends-league dot com should work. Or I could pick it up in the download section, fine too.

Usually I don't bother with alien laptimes (especially not in the iR forum - "can't do better than 1:01, I'm off the pace here"), but I'm really curious how anyone could press 5 more seconds out of this short track.

Did 90 laps last night (all with low fuel) as this track is so addictive. PB of 1.03.765 with optimal 1.03.1xx more to come as every lap I was quicker I either caught traffic or that bloody bump at Westfield. Fastest lap of the session was a 1.02.062

It is going to be so intense to be consistently quick here.

so I'm still a bit baffled here... you mentioned 1:02 at Brands Hatch Indy?

or are you still claiming that your PB is 1:02 at the Grand Prix layout?

I guess technically, the aliens could easily be doing 1:02s since that would make me 104% of their speed.... a 1:02 for them, 104% => 1:04.48 for me... crazy.

Can't match Ben's time yet, let alone beat it. 1:02.8 from my first serious practice. Setup attached but it's far from something I'm happy with.
