Yes exactly, but first try to change this in your controler.ini FFB steer force exponent="0.20000" to 0.75000.
This also increases the strength of FFB. Lower the MaxForceSteeringRack as a last resort. The lower you go the more chances you have that FFB clipping will occur.
The above number has to be changed in both the controler.ini file in yout PLR folder (ex. rFactor\User Data\YourName) , aswell as in your actual controler.ini file (i have mine named CSR GP79.ini for example) located in the User Data\Controlers folder.
Also try to increase this number first in LeoFFB:
LeoFFB.ini :
11.4 Relative strength of FFB effects -- The higher the number the stronger LEO's FFB effects are
Mine is at 17.1 now.

Cheers.

I did, the ffb feels great, it could just have a bit more centering in a straight line, its very open there. in corners/under load its excellent.

I noticed something strange, the braking feels like i can use way more brake pressure now. before i had 92% and was locking up, now i have 94% and am not looking the tires anymore.

I'm quite shocked. I'm testing now both with the new tyres and the new FFB all at once and the car feels totally different! The steering is now almost like my mom's Lancer instead of the hard jerky FFB with rapidly rising self-centering. Admittetly I've only tried driving on the limits when on ice and snow in real life but the steering FFB here is much closer to it than anything I've ever tried in rFactor before.

How on earth did you come to these values?

Well, i read somwhere in the forums of the "magic" 65535 number. Then i've just tried it and gone through several different manuals explaining what which parameter does and after lots and lots of trial and error i came up with those.

@Mario, the loose centering feeling only occurs on Logitech wheels (sadly) due to their design and the in-programed FFB center deadzone. Try to set centering spring in Logitech profiler to 5% or 10% maybe you can get rid of this loosnes a bit.
Other than that, there's really no real solution with Logitecs
As for the breaking, its probably the new tyres.

Thanks for the tip.
It was with the new tires both times on the brakes, i guess it is because i have more control now and the car doesnt struggle so much when under load.
That always changes the braking feel for me.

U got your device properties for g25, FF set at what? 100percent?

----------------
doesnt the realfeel.dll go into plugins and the realfeel.ini goes into root??

u best get your guides right Jaka or noobs get even more anoyed about RF FF.
------------------
I noticed u write userdata/controller/your controller.ini

i saw mine "az keyboard" differs from the controller.ini in
userdata/yourname folder

i always changed the ini in myname folder, not controller folder

Jaka, u would need to click load "az keyboard" ingame to have it set correctly,
the game uses "yourname/controller.ini" and takes info from whatever ini you just clicked load

Am i right???

I don't use the G25, i use the Fanatec CSR.

Yes RealFeel.ini goes into root - corrected.
I noticed u write userdata/controller/your controller.ini
Yes, thats correct. I use the rFactor Launcher 2.0 aplication, which i think most use, and there you can select which controler to load with which mod.
So for example when i load the GP79 mod i load my CSR_GP79.ini control file with it, and so on with different mods.
If you make changes in the controler.ini file within you username folder, it can only be made 1 time, can't have different key bindings for different mods there.
And i said at the end of the post, if anyone has questions just ask, i'm willinig to explain if something is uncertain.

You can name the ini's in userdata/controller folder which way you like, i usualy delete/or rename all the default ones that came with the game and name my own ini's. So then you can load the apropriate one for the mod your using.

I was just trying to help peeps getting better FFB in rFactor, shame you need to be so critical about it.

No offense dude, i love your settings.
I guess i must have been in a cricitical mindset.
i shoulda skipped the " u better" part. lol
+ i was really wondering about the ini's and folders. got confused

It kinda centers for me so i dont have a big problem in a straight line.
FF on g25 feels not weak and not to strong.
I think it perfect for longer races, if u want hard realism, it might be considered a bit weak.
And now i feel the bumps and curbs, and loss of grip.
I think this is a succes, keep up the good work.

Realfeel 0.93 can't be found anymore since megaupload went down.

We need someone to upload it becuase i dont know what is what anymore.

The v8's run great but the gp79 feel so numb, i must have done something wrong.

Perfection is highly subjective, though these tweaks are golden.

Just tweaked the steering lock and made the ffb act stronger.

Other than that, great fidelity and really good effects.

Thanks a lot Jaka!
