Guys, I think I should speak on the behalf of Jef as he can't race in a Mclaren.

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
Jef was on the server at Fuji-asked for a set up, not sure if he got one, but he rejoined in a Williams FW07-I whispered to Jef that that is not the car he should be driving. I don't think Jef was originally included in the initial car set allocations (can't remember why). He used to drive the Mclaren before and did very well iirc.David Faria wrote:Guys, I think I should speak on the behalf of Jef as he can't race in a Mclaren.

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
Bret who decided to give you Lotus 79 lol its a great car
Otherwise good changes, there were some guys who were running upfront too easy with their williamses, ligiers or ferraris

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
I only recommend/suggest the changes but its the other admins who agree/disagree, they check it Believe me there is no chance for me to get a faster car than I deserve, not that I would want to do that anywayRisto Kappet wrote:Bret who decided to give you Lotus 79 lol its a great car

Cheers,
Bret
Edit: I find it more difficult with the faster top end cars to assign to peeps because the difference of one lower car to the other is rather vast whereas when we used the lower end type cars last season if anyone had to drop to a lower car the difference was not as great.

BT 49 for a T4?
Don´t be like I had an easy time to keep up in the T4.
Not willing to accept this to be honest.

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
Hi,
I know I swapped down recently, (lotus to brabham)
If I was allowed to swap up to Ligier or Fw07, perhaps Grant and Co. might get some added competition? maybe
No problem if not. Lauda's car is hella fun.
But I sure do miss driving that #27 car

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
There is no obv. reason to take a BT49 over a 79. So basiclly i get a useless car as 2nd choice (specially with weight).
Front 12 cars most likely will be lotus and mclaren with these changes. Bring some color in!
Sure, there is a few good cars, anyways, took ages to get used to the ferrari...and I am really not giving this car away without protest.
(enormous efforts to stay top 8 )
Don't forget, this is my first half year with a racing sim. Duh.
I know I know, little kid screaming for sweets xD
In case this change really applies, I d like to swap the BT49 for the BT 48.

Re: TWF1 Mid Season Car Allocation Changes
I think, with the exception of Kat & myself because we prefer the Ferrari over the Ligier (even if it is somehow slower) I've never really noticed but does anyone ever really use there 2nd car ??? If not what's the point of having it if we don't have to use it?
Maybe we should have to use both cars, why not have it so we have to run each at alternate races?
