rFactor Replay Anomaly

Post by Gerry A »

Hi gang

I've just been reviewing a Legends race from Sept last year at Kya. All was fine except that one of the drivers was in a F1 67 Ferrari!

What on Earth could cause that?

Thanks in advance

Hi Gerry

It could be what you are smoking mate

Seriously no idea Gerry. Was the replay made using the same version of rFactor as could be a version mismatch anomaly ?????

Nice to see you are still lurking 8)

iirc it can happen if you have various mods and they cross over.

do you have a 67 mod installed at all?

The f1 67 mod has some issues, when you install it it mixes some thing up in rfactor with other mods. i would recome another rfactor install for it alone.
theres a new slim and small rfactor version around its just 100mb + additional mods: rfactor lite quite handy.

Thanks all. Is there a safe way of removing the 67 mod?

Its rubbish rick, a convert pill of crap from various sources without permission or support.
If you want 67 get gpl ;) or else try the 55 merc for rfactor, its much better then supposedly 67mod.

 I was so hopeful. I've seen the 1967 F1 mod listed on rFactorCentral for a while now but the progress bar shows no progress. Don't know it it's a stalled project or not but I sure would love to see a GPL v2!
Also saw a 1970 Ferrari 312B mod being worked on, the WIP shots looks spectacular. If only it could flesh out into a full 1970 field... 8)

I have the 55 Mercedes mod and think it's brilliant, but the promise of more cars of the '55 season looks to be wishful thinking :( . I didn't realize these are the same group doing the 1967 F1 mod, too bad they couldn't finish the deal with 1955 before getting wrapped up in another project.

Team Players are currently finishing up a 2006 Grand Am mod, http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cf ... and%20Slam. After that they should be working on the 67 F1 mod again but they never work fast. Brilliant looking models but we'll have finished racing rF by the time it gets released at this rate!

I'm actually no their beta team for the 67 F1 although given the amount of effort I've put in, it makes them look like they've been working full time on it! I've just checked their beta forum and there hasn't even been any discussion on the physics since nearly a year ago :(
