Hi Georg...
I found out last week that running with the front wing bashed off the
Lotus 79 got me another 10-12kph down the Mulsanne Straight.... but
very scary on the last sector! I did not find it gained me much time
overall as I lost time on the last sector with no wing!

It will be interesting if this cures Petra's wandering!

Subject: [lgnds_league] Le Mans: No Wings and No Wandering

Hi All,

just tried my first 2 laps without a front wing, i.e. removing the front
wing while driving into the pit wall at LeMans. Well, what should I say,
equaled my Q time from yesterday on my 1st flying lap and bettered
my Q time
by almost a second on my 2nd flying lap, reaching 325 kph (317 with
intact
front wing) !!!

But what most surprised me was the fact that the wandering was gone,
there
was no wandering at all. I had full control over the car for the
first time
after updating to GP79v2 ?!?!

Now is there something wrong with my equipment or with v2 ?

Petra, maybe you can try it too. Would be interesting if you
experience the
same.

Georg
