Do I have to have the Logitech software installed or does rFactor, FFB, ReelFeel etc override these settings??
Can someone explain how to optimize the steeringwheelsetting incl. different forcefeddback-alternatives.
For instance how does the different rate-adjustment affect the G25 and/or rFactor.

Hi,
you do not need the Logitech profiler, only the driver. So after you've installed your wheel for the first time, you may disable the profiler. Some do recommend this, I don't know, I don't use it anyway.
