Legends League Racing team

Post by Rik Walker »

Baz & Mark should already know this since they've accepted my invites :) but I've created a "Legends League Racing" team for use during team events. I'm not totally (read "not at all") sure how this all works but I've given Baz & Mark admin status which I think (hope) means they can enter events using the team without me having to be involved.

This team is open for all Legends members running iRacing. I've sent out invites to various members I'm aware of - if you've not had one please reply here, drop me a PM etc. Also let me know if you would like admin access.

Does anyone want to run in one of the 24 hours du fun races at Spa to test out the driver swapping & stuff? It's GT3 at Spa with the races 30 laps. The races include a qual session so the whole thing takes about 90 minutes.

I'm around during the UK daytime this week and possibly the weekend. The only one of the available cars I've driven is the McLaren which is pretty easy to drive just using the baseline setup. I've not driven the Ford & don't own the Ruf or BMW.

Its not confirmed yet but it looks like we might be in the Mclaren for the short season, I presume we could all manage 4 races for fun, no expectations?

I would be up for that, I have driven the MP4 a lot and its very stable with the right set-up

Well they have 6 drivers, I PMed Andrea prompted by Mark P. We could register another car or chalenge with a Legends Team if we can get 6 drivers. Oh and its Road America not Spa. I have bought the BMW now so any car for me.

Well, I put my name down, didn't get picked and they are using my paint job  but with hindsight mate we are better off out, 60 cars will start :o not my idea of fun and it only takes one mistake by someone else and you are out.

I think I will see how it goes first.
