Sorry for the absence guys. Looks like you have things sorted for tomorrow. I have had a death in the family and our head admin James over at speedracin just had surgery and is in recovery so been bothered with not so fun things. Hope to see you all at fun2race tomorrow.

Missed the first start. Pits.

2nd start went all flawless. Was running 3rd with all the comfort and focus in the world.
I get screen freezes now in rf2, must be related to the gfx card running out of memory (below 1GB, its a GTX 275 after all).

Anyways, having a screen freeze mid apex destroys any hopes for consistency and makes your car flip on the start finish line
Game runs fine otherwise, pace was there. Not gonna play seriously until I get better hardware.

Event and track was fun as hell anyways :allhail: . Thx!

had fun on that track. Was racing very consistent and clawed my way up to 3rd then met a mean piece of metal on the track.

Was looking forward to the race, close to the pace. But I had one to forget. Was caught up badly in the first race crash. Then in the second start I got a nudge onto the grass at turn 2, dropped to the tail of the field with bent steering. A couple of laps later still adjusting to the new steering angle I made a clumsy pass attempt, lost control and took someone out at Bolderberghaarspeldbocht.
My apologies, I am still too ashamed to check the replay for your identity!
From there it was a long lonely recovery drive, a second off my pace but getting there, chasing Bret. Hight attrition meant I finished 5th.

I enjoyed this event very much, the car & track combo really good imo. At the 2nd start...had a reasonable get away, held my own on the first lap, gained a couple of spots through peeps going off then settled nicely into the race. Was behind a chap call Emery, tailing him for a few laps looking for an opportunity to pass, I then got a little too close to Emery under braking, think I touched him ever so slightly, my mistake for sure, I span but at least Emery was able to continue, thereafter I just went for it. Was tailing Mitch for a good few laps but he was maintianing the gap and responding well under pressure. I think Mitch went off somewhere, not quite sure, but before I knew it I Emery was just about 2 seconds in front of me, with about 10 mins to go suddenly Grant appeared in my mirrors, I let him through because he was much quicker than me and I thought I would let Grant have a go at Emery and maybe I get lucky...turns out they (Grant & Emery) had a bit of a tangle at T1...I went wide to avoid Grant (I think) but hit the bloody barriers, damaged suspension was the result & then Ralph got by.

The standard of driving from what I saw was high, a great race.

Congrats to Steve for the win :)

I had high hopes for this but it wasn't to be  quailed 3rd. Started okay and retained 3rd but entering turn 2 I was squeezed out by someone alongside but slightly behind me and I hit the barrier and had huge damage. Made my way back up and pitted at half distance because my front left was on red, I'm guessing due to the damage.

Went for it and caught the pack up again and with fresher tyres. Got into 4th but made a bad judgment call when making a move on Emery and we collided in T1. Carried on and then finished 4th.

Well done Steve. Another Legends victory  :welcome:
